A broad array of awards and incentives are components of the competition: the winner will receive $2,500 and a five-day, all expense paid trip to Stockholm, Sweden to attend the SJWP international competition; the winner's science teacher will be awarded $500 toward enhancing science education for his/her classroom; and the student, teacher and school of each state will receive national recognition.
When: June 10-12, 2004
Where: Denver Renaissance Hotel, 3801 Quebec Street, Denver, Colorado
Why: The SJWP competition seeks to engage, encourage and support the interest of young people throughout the world in water environment and science issues.
