New Line of Handheld Colorimeters Introduced

FORT WASHINGTON, PA -- Severn Trent Services has introduced a new line of handheld colorimeters through Orbeco-Hellige, a leading manufacturer of water and wastewater testing instruments, test kits and reagents.

The Colorimeter SC400™ series comprises rugged, waterproof, single parameter instruments for laboratory and field testing. The colorimeters are available in four parameters: chlorine (free and total), chlorine dioxide, ammonia and fluoride.

The SC400 series features easy four-button operation; a large backlit, highly visible, indigo blue display; a real time clock; and 16 set data logging capability, plus other superior features when compared to the most popular competitive unit. The system offers a user calibration mode, allowing the user to calibrate against prepared standards.

Using Powder Pack™ reagent chemistries, the portable instruments can be taken wherever residual values are monitored. The colorimeters are not only waterproof; they also float in water.

In addition to the colorimeter, the SC400 Chlorine Kit includes reagents for 200 tests, a rugged carrying case, 9 volt battery, four sample cells and instructions at a very competitive price.
