Parsons, KS -- Tank Connection and its affiliates BOSS Tank and ATEC Steel have announced approved expansions at all three facilities. Company officials released a statement confirming industry reports.

According to Tank Connection president Bill Neighbors, growth in the domestic and international markets for storage systems remain unprecedented in the core markets that the company serves. “Our domestic clients prefer the line of products we offer, tailored for their specific application.”

Tank Connection is the only tank supplier worldwide that manufactures all five types of steel storage tanks including field-weld, bolted FP (flat panel), shop-weld, hybrid and composite/steel tank designs.

BOSS tank recently finished their third expansion this year, according to company president, John Farris. “The BOSS FP tank has really become the preferred bolted storage tank in the industry. Our clients tout it as the ultimate storage tank design for dry bulk and liquid storage applications. It took a lot to get where we are today and it was not by accident. For years, the industry has wanted a long life, low maintenance, high quality storage tank that could be installed in the field utilizing a safe construction process. At BOSS Tank, we have addressed all four issues.”

The net result is a bolted, modular storage tank design that provides consistent and reliable performance in the field. The ATEC facility is over 100,000 sq. ft., with specialty bays designated for different types of knock-down, field-weld tank components. The ATEC expansion will include the installation of a separate stainless steel process line.

“Our second burn table, which is just over 92’ long, is currently being installed. The entire project is expected to be completed by the second week in September,” stated Noel Garret, ATEC company president. “The added capacity will allow us to hold down our lead times to a reasonable timeframe. Our commitment to service our customers remains at the top of our list.”

Tank Connection and its affiliate companies total over 225 employees. The company designs, manufactures and installs storage tanks and integrated storage systems worldwide.
