The Newsletter
------------------------------------------------------------

Hi everyone! Sorry for this week's issue coming out so late
but we have all been attending a conference in Orlando, FL
for our sister company, RealTime Aide. The conference was
for the American Society of Industrial Security, ASIS. It
is the only show I have been to where the CIA (yes, Margaret
that CIA) had a booth for recruitment! Vendors at this show
sell things like security cameras, systems, etc. to casinos,
government facilities, etc.

Notable exhibits, at least in my book, were the ones by ICI and
Mercedes. ICI makes those "dye bombs" which are fake packs
of money that blow up when bank robbers leave the bank,
staining all the money and people who stole it! The Mercedes
exhibit was for armor plated cars they build...at $130,000
a copy. They had one customer's car on exhibit...all shot up
from a terrorist attack!! Riddled with bullet holes and
shotgun blasts...and the owner escaped untouched! Amazing!

Our goal is to provide information to improve your business
by using the resources available on the Internet.

Please forward this newsletter to your friends, intact.

Thanks, Joe Taylor

Roger Jinks Appointed to Lead AMEC's Earth & Environmental
Operations In North America

PHOENIX, /PRNewswire/ -- AGRA Earth & Environmental, one of
North America's largest geotechnical, materials and
environmental engineering firms, today announced the appointment
of a new president and the adoption of a new name and identity.

The company will now market its services under the AMEC brand
name. This follows from AGRA Inc.'s merger with AMEC PLC in
April of this year. AMEC PLC was recently ranked by Engineering
News Record magazine as the world's largest international design
firm.

Mr. Roger Jinks has been appointed president of AMEC's Earth &
Environmental operations. He has served in various management
positions within the AGRA organization since 1987. Most recently,
he was executive vice president of the company's Western Canada,
U.S. West Coast and International operations. He succeeds Dr.
William Slusarchuk, who is retiring after 27 years with the
company. During Dr. Slusarchuk's tenure, AGRA Earth & Environmental
was transformed into a multi-national company with more than
1,600 professionals in 65 offices.

Mr. Jinks stated, "These are very exciting times for our people
and our clients. As part of AMEC, look for us to be a fast-growing,
dynamic company with a greater depth of resources in North America
and abroad. To stay ahead of the competition we must be
responsive to customer needs and market changes, and position
ourselves as a company which provides high value to customers,
shareholders and staff."

The company will adopt the AMEC identity for all of its 18
offices in the United States, 42 in Canada and 5 in other nations.

The company will continue to offer a full range of services
covering environmental services, geotechnical engineering,
materials engineering and testing and, and water resources
engineering for private and public sector clients.

AMEC plc is a provider of services and engineering solutions
to the world's infrastructure, manufacturing and process
industries. The company creates value for clients through
the application of technologies, alliances and innovative
partnerships.

AMEC merged recently with AGRA Inc., a leading North American
professional engineering and environmental services firm. AMEC
owns 41.6 per cent of SPIE S.A., an international electrical
engineering, infrastructure and construction services company
based in France, and has an option to buy the balance of SPIE
in 2002.

Together, AMEC and SPIE employ 50,000 people in 40 countries
with annual revenue exceeding US $8 billion. AMEC plc (London:
AMEC) is headquartered in the United Kingdom.

Ultra-Low-Flow Toilets Conserve Water
------------------------------------------------------------

Orange county water district makes new commitment to provide
60,000 ultra-low-flow toilets to families in orange county

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. - The Board of Directors of the Orange
County Water District (OCWD) recently committed to increase
OCWD's participation in an ultra-low-flow toilet (ULFT)
conservation program that will replace 60,000 Orange County
toilets per year with free, new ULFTs. The program will help
conserve 1,700* acre-feet of water each year - enough to
serve about 13,000 Orange County residents.

In 1999, OCWD entered into an agreement with the Municipal
Water District of Orange County to distribute high quality
ULFTs to single- and multi-family residences within the OCWD
service area. Since the program's beginning in October 1999,
nearly 43,000 ULFTs have been distributed to families in
north-central Orange County. This amount represents 1,500
ULFTs more than projected, with water savings of 1,266
acre-feet* or 412 million gallons of water per year.

Because of the program's success during the first year, OCWD
has announced that it will contribute an additional $75,000
per year for the purchase of 5,000 additional ULFTs per year.
In the past, the ULFT program required financial participation
by consumers, but since 1999, the program has provided the
toilets at no cost to consumers in north-central Orange County.

"Since our area is highly dependent on water imported from
distant sources, we will be reducing our needs from these
sources in the future," said William R. Mills Jr., general
manager of the Orange County Water District.

The ULFT program is sponsored by the Water Use Efficiency
Steering Committee, which includes OCWD, the Municipal
Water District of Orange County (MWDOC), Orange County
Sanitation District (OCSD), City of Anaheim and other cities
and water districts in Orange County. OCWD, MWDOC and OCSD
participate in underwriting the no-cost, ultra-low-flow
toilet program that encourages county residents to replace
inefficient toilets. The program could eventually replace
900,000 residential toilets in Orange County, creating an
annual savings of approximately 25,000 acre-feet of water
per year.

*An acre-foot is 325,900 gallons or enough water to serve
two Orange County families for one year.
